    We had friends who couldn't stop biting their nails — no matter how hard they tried. They had used the usual bitter nail polishes, but none of them really worked. Most looked cheap, felt embarrassing to wear, and worst of all: they didn't support the healing process of damaged nails. They were made to punish, not to restore. No vitamins, no care. Just shame in a bottle.

    That's when we realized something was missing. There was no product that combined function, care, and design. People needed more than a deterrent — they needed a solution that felt good to use and actually helped their nails recover.

    Our mission was clear: to create a product that didn't just stop the habit, but helped build something better. A formula that restores nails, calms the urge, and fits seamlessly into anyone's routine — whether you're male, female, or simply tired of hiding your hands.

    Together with my co-founder and friend Tim Alt, we developed a formula in Munich that went far beyond the typical bitter polish. We combined nourishing oils and essential vitamins with a carefully balanced bitter agent — strong enough to break the habit, gentle enough to support healing. Every ingredient was chosen with care. Every version was tested and refined until it worked perfectly.

    We didn't just want to create a remedy. We wanted to reframe a bad habit as something beautiful. That's why RESTORY doesn't look like anything else in its category. The matte glass bottle, the minimal branding, the clean silver accents — everything was designed to feel elevated, unisex and timeless. No more hiding it in drawers. RESTORY deserves to be seen.
